Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, your history, and what you’re hoping to change or strengthen. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. My role is to guide the conversation, help you feel comfortable, and begin building a plan that fits your needs.
Sessions are typically 50–55 minutes. This gives us enough time to explore what’s going on, practice skills, and create a sense of closure before you leave.
Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and consistency. As you begin to feel more stable and confident, we may shift to biweekly or another schedule that fits your progress and needs.
There’s no one‑size‑fits‑all timeline. Some clients come for a few months to work on a specific issue; others stay longer to process deeper patterns or trauma. We’ll check in regularly about your goals and progress so therapy always feels purposeful and aligned with what you want.
I specialize in trauma‑informed care, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and supporting children, teens, and adults through life transitions. I also use EMDR, CBT, play therapy, and strengths‑based approaches to help clients heal and grow.
