Lindsey Taylor

Lindsey Taylor has been a counselor since 2014 and has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings with clients across the lifespan. She graduated with her Master’s in Counseling from the University of Houston–Clear Lake in December 2013. Since 2014, Lindsey has served as a school counselor and, since 2020, has also worked with adults through telemental health platforms.

Lindsey has supported clients as they process experiences and thoughts that feel hard to navigate on their own, including those who have experienced trauma. The heart of her work is to facilitate self-growth by helping clients identify core challenges and patterns so they can move forward with greater clarity and confidence. She utilizes a client-centered approach and draws from solution-focused and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) practices to help clients reach their therapeutic goals. Lindsey has completed EMDR training and has found this modality to help clients process and integrate their experiences in a meaningful way.

Outside of her professional role, Lindsey is also a wife to a first responder and military veteran, which informs her deep respect for the unique stressors and strengths within first responder and military families.
